The inspection team comprised officials from the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department and personnel from the local Police department. During the drive, the team thoroughly inspected retail shops, restaurants, and cafeterias to check for overcharging, product expiry dates, and adherence to environmental regulations. Key actions of the joint inspection team Penalties for Market Violations: – A total fine of ₹6,500 was imposed and recovered from Five erring shopkeepers found violating market regulations and standard operating procedures.
