An orientation programme on the various schemes implemented by the Department of Agriculture, Durbuk Zone, was successfully conducted at Perma Village. The programme aimed to create awareness among farmers about the different agricultural schemes available under the department and to provide clear guidance on the eligibility criteria, application process, and the procedure for availing these benefits.
A total of 70 farmers actively participated in the training programme, which witnessed enthusiastic interaction and participation from the beneficiaries. During the programme, interested and eligible individuals were also identified for the adoption of Ladakh Greenhouses and Vermicompost Units under the department schemes.
