Three-Day Nanritam HPC Training Programme Commences at Ladakh Public School by DIET Leh.
Leh, July 21, 2026: A three-day HPC (Holistic Progress Card) Training Programme organised by the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh in collaboration with Nanritam West Bengal commenced today on 21st July 2026, with enthusiastic participation by 480 teachers representing all six educational zones of Leh district along with teachers from various private schools.
The training programme aims to strengthen teachers’ understanding of the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) as envisioned under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, enabling them to implement competency-based, comprehensive, and learner-centred assessment practices in schools.
The inaugural sessions was grace by worthy Secretary School Education Madam Bhanu Prabha, IAS . Worthy secretary expressed that UT Ladakh will be first UT to implement the contextualized HPC for the foundational level. The Principal, DIET Leh, Shri Sonam Dorje Namgyal, warmly welcomed all the participants and resource persons. In his address, he highlighted the significance of the Holistic Progress Card in transforming the assessment system from a marks-oriented approach to one that promotes the overall growth and development of every learner. He encouraged all participants to actively engage in the training and effectively implement the knowledge and skills gained in their respective schools.
The session is being conducted by expert resource persons from the Nanritam who are providing practical insights and hands-on training on the effective implementation of the HPC framework.
The programme reflects DIET Leh’s continued commitment to enhancing teachers’ professional competencies and supporting the successful implementation of NEP 2020 across government and private schools in the district.
