Plastic Ban Enforcement Drive Conducted in TSG Market.
Kargil, July 24, 2026: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Kargil and under the supervision of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), the Block Development Office, TSG, conducted a plastic ban enforcement drive in TSG Market to ensure compliance with the ban on single-use plastic and promote environmental protection.
The inspection team was comprised of Rakesh Singh Batla, Block Development Officer, TSG, Fatimah Jinnah, Panchayat Inspector, Sehrab Hussain, Junior Engineer, Concerned Panchayat Secretaries and other staff members of the Block Development Office.
During the inspection, banned plastic items were seized from violators, and fines were imposed on defaulters in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
The Block Development Office, TSG, has appealed to all shopkeepers, business establishments, and the general public to refrain from using or selling banned plastic items and to cooperate with the administration in maintaining a clean, healthy, and environmentally sustainable society.
