Cleanliness Drive Conducted at Diskit and Surrounding Areas.
Nubra, July 25, 2026: As per the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Nubra, Shri Mukul Beniwal, IAS, a cleanliness drive was conducted at Diskit and its surrounding areas, covering government offices, government quarters, markets, streets, drains, and other public places.
During the drive, the Diskit market and adjoining areas were cleaned with the active participation of Heads of Departments, officials from various government departments and local residents. The Nambardar also ensured the active participation of the residents, who cleaned their houses, streets, drains and surrounding areas.
The cleanliness campaign was successfully carried out with the cooperation of all government departments, Lambardars and the general public, reaffirming the collective commitment towards maintaining cleanliness, ensuring proper sanitation and promoting responsible waste management across the region.
