    Leh, 26 July 2026: Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Leh, Union Territory of Ladakh, facilitated a meaningful virtual interaction of the participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme (VVVP) 2026 with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the NIC District Office, Leh. The session brought together participants from around 245 districts across India, reflecting the shared spirit and commitment of youth serving in the country’s vibrant border villages.
    During the interaction, the Hon’ble Prime Minister warmly engaged with the participants, who shared their heartfelt experiences, grassroots learnings, and inspiring stories of service in India’s border villages under the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme. The conversation reflected a strong sense of pride, purpose, and belonging, highlighting the role of youth in nation-building and inclusive development in remote and border areas.
    The programme at Leh was attended by Shri Romil Singh Donk, IAS, District Magistrate, Leh, Shri Nitish Rajora, IAS, Changthang district, Ms. Tajamul Ara, State Director, MY Bharat , UT of Ladakh, along with around 23 participants.
    Following the Prime Minister’s virtual interaction, Shri Romil Singh Donk, IAS, also spent time with the participants. He appreciated their enthusiasm and dedication, and encouraged them to continue working closely with communities to strengthen border villages through youth leadership, active participation, and nation-building efforts.
    The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming MY Bharat’s continued commitment to empowering young people and deepening community participation in the development of Vibrant Villages across the Union Territory of Ladakh.
