DC Sham Inspects Garbage Vulnerable Points of Liker, Saspol and Khaltse; PHC and Key Government Offices at Saspol.
Khaltse, July 28, 2026: Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), today conducted an inspection of various garbage-vulnerable points in Liker, Saspol and Khaltse to assess sanitation and waste management measures. She directed the concerned officials to ensure proper waste disposal, maintain cleanliness, and take immediate steps to prevent the accumulation of garbage.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrates Mohd. Sharif (Khaltse) and Gurmet Namgial (Liker); Tehsildar Saspol, Tanveer Ahmad; Block Development Officer, Saspol, Manzoor Hussain; Naib Tehsildar Headquarters, Sham, Attaullah Khan; Patwari, and other concerned officials.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Saspol, the Tehsildar Office, Saspol, the Block Development Office, Saspol, and reviewed the progress of the under-construction Tehsil Office at Saspol. She interacted with the staff, checked the attendance register, and directed all officials and employees to maintain punctuality and ensure efficient public service delivery.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Solid Resource Management Centre (SRMC), Saspol, and reviewed its functioning, emphasizing the need for effective segregation, collection and scientific disposal of waste.
At Khaltse, Block Development Officer, Dr. Zakir Hussain; Block Inspector, Tsering Angchuk; and other concerned officials were also present during the inspection of garbage-vulnerable points at Khaltse Bridge, the Cricket Ground, and the Solid Resource Management Centre (SRMC), Khaltse.
