Intensified TB Elimination Campaign Conducted at UT Secretariat, Leh.
NHM UT Ladakh conducted an Intensified TB Elimination Campaign under the “Jan Jan Rakhe Dhyan – TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” at UT Secretariat, Leh, to strengthen early detection and timely diagnosis of tuberculosis under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme NTEP.
The campaign featured portable digital Chest X-ray screening for early identification of presumptive TB cases. NCD screening, including blood pressure and blood sugar testing, was also conducted to promote preventive healthcare.
A total of 99 individuals (55 males and 44 females) participated in the screening, with 24 individuals identified for CBNAAT testing as per protocol.
The initiative reflects NHM UT Ladakh’s continued commitment to achieving the goal of a TB-Free Ladakh through early detection, integrated screening, and timely intervention.
