    LEH, LADAKH – The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, in collaboration with its knowledge partner GoldenMile Learning, successfully concluded Part II of the 3-Day Leadership Communication Program Part II (31st July 26, 1st August & 3rd August 2026). The course, designed for the Heads of Institutions, was held at the DIET Training Hall.
    The program targeted key education leaders, including Principals, Zonal Education Officers, and Headmasters, to enhance their decision-making capabilities for the holistic development of the Union Territory of Ladakh. The initiative also fostered a collaborative learning environment by including teachers from several private schools in addition to the 35+ participants.
    Program Design and Delivery
    The curriculum has been developed and conducted by Dr. Neepa Oza, Program Director at GoldenMile Education, alongside her team. Leveraging extensive professional expertise in development, the training comprised three modules:
    1. Clarity in Leadership Community.

    2. Effective Negotiation in School Leadership.

    3. Conducting Meetings that Lead to Change.

    Inaugural Session
    The program was inaugurated by Sh. S. D. Namgyal, Principal of DIET Leh, in the presence of the HoDs and programme coordinators. In his address, he encouraged participants to fully utilize the opportunity and emphasized the necessity for leaders to evolve continuously. He stressed that superior communication and leadership skills are essential for Heads of Institutions to ensure the well-being of both students and teachers and to justify their professional responsibilities.
