Two-Day Orientation Training on VB-GRAM G Act, 2025 Held in Kargil.
Kargil, August 01, 2026: A two-day Orientation Training Programme on the VB-GRAM G Act, 2025 for officers and officials of the Rural Development Department, Kargil, was conducted from 31st July to 1st August 2026 under the Annual Capacity Building Plan (ACBP) in collaboration with the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad, at the Conference Hall of the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kargil.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Shri Shafiq Ahmad Mir, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kargil, who emphasized the importance of capacity building and digital transformation in strengthening rural governance and ensuring the effective implementation of rural development programmes.
The training was conducted by Mudasir Rahowf Wani, (BDO), Zanskar, who served as the Master Trainer for the programme.
The sessions focused on the implementation of the VB-GRAM G Act, 2025, digital transformation in rural governance, evidence-based planning, beneficiary-centric digital systems, and e-KYC authentication to enhance transparency, accountability, and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.
Participants were also trained on the Village Gram Panchayat Planning (VGPP) activity flow through the Yuktdhara Portal, enabling scientific planning, GIS-based project preparation, and improved implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of rural development works.
The programme concluded with an interactive session during which participants discussed the practical application of digital initiatives in rural governance and reaffirmed their commitment to adopting technology-driven, transparent, accountable, and efficient governance practices for the effective implementation of rural development programmes.
