EJM College Leh celebrates ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with patriotic fervour.
LEH, AUGUST 12, 2026: Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Leh, celebrated the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign on its campus today with great patriotic zeal and enthusiasm. The programme was jointly organised by the Department of Physical Education and the NCC Cadet Corps.
The ceremony commenced with Principal, EJM College, Prof. Stanzin Yangdol, hoisting the National Flag in the presence of Associate NCC Officer and Director sports, Capt. Dr. Ujwala Koche, and Director Sports, Dr. Tsering Spalzom. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Vande Mataram, evoking a strong spirit of national pride among the attendees.
As part of the event, national flags were distributed among faculty members to mark the campaign. A major highlight of the day was a vibrant Tiranga Rally organised from the college campus to Singay Namgyal Chowk. Students, faculty members, staff, and NCC cadets of 1 Ladakh Battalion actively participated in the rally, carrying the National Flag high and spreading the message of civic responsibility and patriotism across the town.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the entire college community, reaffirming their dedication to national values and unity in diversity.
