Khaltsi, 12 August 2026: As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a Tiranga Rally was organised today in Khaltsi, Sham District, to promote the spirit of patriotism, national unity, and respect for the National Flag.
The rally commenced from the Khaltsi Bus Stand and concluded at Zerthang Photang, witnessing enthusiastic participation from officers, government employees, and students.
The rally was led by the Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS). Senior Superintendent of Police, Sham, Ajaz Malik; Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Khaltsi, Mohd. Sharif; Executive Engineer, PWD Khaltsi, Ghulam Abass; Block Medical Officer, Khaltsi, Dr. Javed Ahmed; Station House Officer, Khaltsi, Tsewang Norboo; Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Khaltsi; Naib Tehsildar Khaltsi, Attahullah, CDPO, Khaltsi; along with officials from various government departments, the Nambardar of Khaltsi, and local residents also participated in the rally.
A large number of students from Government Higher Secondary School Khaltsi, Government Degree College, Moravian Academy School, and Lamdon Jamyang School, Khaltsi participated with great enthusiasm, carrying the National Flag and raising patriotic slogans.
The active participation of students and government employees added vibrancy to the event and conveyed a strong message of unity, patriotism, and national pride.
The event concluded with a collective reaffirmation by all participants to uphold the values represented by the Tricolour and to ensure the successful and meaningful implementation of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign across Sham District.
