DC Kargil Congratulates Recipients of State Awards for Their Distinguished Contributions.
Kargil, August 13, 2026: Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC Kargil warmly congratulated all the awardees from Kargil who have been conferred the prestigious State Awards for the Year 2023 by the UT Administration of Ladakh in recognition of their outstanding contributions and dedicated services in various fields.
The Deputy Commissioner extended his congratulations to Dr. Zakir Hussain, Block Veterinary Officer, under the Public Service (Gazetted) category; Sh. Kacho Asfandyar Khan in the field of Literature; Sh. Vishal Atri, JKAS, SDM Drass, under Public Service (Administration); Sh. Anayatullah, Dy. SP, Hqrs Kargil, under Public Service/Police; Late Sh. Mohd Raza (Posthumous) for Bravery; Ms. Shanaz Parveen in Sports; Al-Reza Care & Research Foundation, Kargil (Dr. Mohd Abbass) under Public Service (Organization); Sh. Muzammil Hussain for Empowerment & Environment Protection; and Ladakh Organic & Green Initiative Consultancy (Er. Ahmad Ali) under Entrepreneurship & Environment, besides other awardees.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the recognition of individuals and organisations from Kargil in diverse fields is a matter of immense pride for the district. He appreciated their dedication, commitment and exemplary contributions towards public service, social welfare, sports, literature, bravery, environmental protection, entrepreneurship and other areas.
He also expressed hope that the achievements of the awardees would inspire others, particularly the youth, to contribute positively to society and work with dedication and sincerity for the development and welfare of the people.
The Deputy Commissioner conveyed his best wishes to all the awardees and their families for their continued success and future endeavours.
