DLSA Kargil Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour.
Kargil, August 15, 2026: The District Legal Services Authority, Kargil, celebrated 80th Independence Day with great fervour and enthusiasm. The celebrations took place at the District Court Complex Kargil.
Mr. Sheikh Gowhar Hussain, Hon’ble Principal District & Sessions Judge, Kargil (Chairman, District Legal Services Authority) Kargil, presided over the function and hoisted the National Flag in the premises of the District Court Complex Kargil. The Hon’ble Judge also took the salute at the District Court, Kargil.
On the occasion, Mr. Tsewang Phunstog Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kargil, Mr. Chemit Yurgyal Secretary DLSA Kargil, Advocate Riyaz Ahmad President Bar Association, Assistant Public Prosecutor, Bar Members, DLSA Staff Members, PLV’s were present.
The Independence Day ceremony at District Court Complex commenced with the rendering of the National Song followed by unfurling of the National Flag and then the recitation of National Anthem.
The 80th Independence Day celebrations were marked by patriotic fervour, with staff and officials of the District Court Kargil. The event served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the importance of upholding the values of democracy and justice.
