Cleanliness Drive Conducted at Cricket Ground, Khaltse under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
Khaltse, August 17, 2026: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, a cleanliness drive was successfully conducted at the Cricket Ground, Khaltse, under the supervision of BDO Khaltse, Dr. Zakir Hussain, with the active participation of officers and officials from all three blocks—Singaylalok, Skurbuchan and Khaltse.
Before commencement of the drive, a Swachhata/Cleanliness Pledge was administered by the BPM (RGSA), Singaylalok, during which all officers and officials present pledged to maintain cleanliness, promote sanitation, protect the environment and contribute towards keeping public places clean and hygienic.
The cleanliness drive witnessed active participation of PI, PAA, GRS, PS, Orderly, Work Supervisor, JE and other concerned officers and field functionaries. The participating officials carried out cleanliness activities at the Cricket Ground and its surrounding areas, removing waste and unwanted material and improving the overall cleanliness and appearance of the premises.
On the occasion, BDO Khaltse, Dr. Zakir Hussain, addressed the participating officers and highlighted the importance of maintaining clean and green villages and their surrounding areas. He emphasized that cleanliness is a continuous responsibility requiring collective efforts from government departments, field functionaries and the local community.
Dr. Zakir Hussain also stressed the importance of proper waste management, sanitation, environmental protection and increasing greenery in villages. He called upon officials to spread awareness among the public and encourage community participation in maintaining clean, green and healthy surroundings.
The cleanliness drive also aimed to strengthen the spirit of patriotism, unity and civic responsibility under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. The campaign seeks to inspire citizens to participate in national initiatives with a sense of pride and responsibility while promoting cleanliness and responsible citizenship.
The coordinated participation of officials from Singaylalok, Skurbuchan and Khaltse reflected a collective commitment towards the objectives of Har Ghar Tiranga, Swachhata and Clean and Green Villages.
The drive concluded successfully with the active participation and cooperation of all officers and officials present.
