SIDCO, NSKFDC Organise Awareness Camp for Safai Karamcharies.
Kargil, August 18, 2026: SIDCO Kargil successfully organized an awareness camp in collaboration with the National Safai Karamcharies Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC) on 18th August 2026 here in Kargil.
The event witnessed active participation of Safai Karamcharies from various departments of Kargil District, including the Municipal Committee Kargil, QAAM District Hospital Kargil, and the Rural Development Department.
On the occasion, Mr. Sandeep Gupta, Project Manager, NSKFDC New Delhi, highlighted the various schemes of NSKFDC aimed at the socio-economic upliftment of Safai Karamcharies. He elaborated on opportunities for financial assistance and entrepreneurship support.
Mr. Akbar Ali Aba, Senior Manager SIDCO, further shared his insights on the schemes, emphasizing their role in improving livelihoods and fostering inclusive growth.
Concluding the programme, Mr. Mohd Arif, Asstt. Manager SIDCO Kargil, briefed participants about the application process for availing these schemes and extended words of thanks to all attendees.
The event was attended by around 150 employees of different departments and employees of SIDCO Kargil, and around 70 participants registered themselves for the schemes, marking a significant step towards empowerment and awareness among Safai Karamcharies in the district.
