Painting Cum Drawing Competition on ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ Held at GHSS Khaltse.
Khaltse, September 01, 2026: As part of the ongoing ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’, the District Social Welfare Office, Leh, in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Khaltse, organised a Painting Cum Drawing Competition at the school today to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and substance addiction.
The competition was conducted on the theme of drug abuse and its harmful consequences, providing students with a creative platform to express their thoughts and convey messages against substance abuse through drawings.
In-charge, Social Welfare Office, Sham District, Rigzin Dawa, briefed the participants about the objectives of the competition and explained the theme, encouraging students to use their creativity to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
Students actively participated in the competition and showcased their creativity while conveying strong messages on the importance of staying away from drugs and adopting a healthy, responsible and drug-free lifestyle.
The initiative aimed to engage young minds in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and encourage students to become ambassadors of awareness by spreading the message of a drug-free society in their schools, families and communities.
