Zanskar, September 16, 2026: The two-day Ladakh Zanskar Festival concluded today at the Sani Zanskar, showcasing the rich cultural heritage, traditions and artistic diversity of Zanskar.
The concluding event witnessed a series of captivating cultural performances that enthralled the gathering. The festival was further elevated by energetic performances by several local bands, singers and artists, reflecting the rich musical traditions and creative talent of Zanskar.
On the occasion, singers, local artists, cultural performers, stakeholders and other contributors associated with the festival were facilitated in recognition of their valuable participation and contribution towards the successful conduct of the Zanskar Festival. The felicitation acknowledged their efforts in promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage, traditions, music and artistic talent of the region.
Secretary Tourism, Sanjit Rodrigues, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Zanskar Omkar Rajendra Gundage, SP Zanskar, EC Phunchok Tashi, along with other senior officers, officials, local stakeholders and members of the public, were present on the occasion.
