CBSE Academic Team Reviews Remedial Coaching Classes at DIET Leh Centre and Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School Leh.
Leh, September 17, 2026: A four-member team from the CBSE Academic Unit, New Delhi, visited the DIET Leh Centre and Boys Higher Secondary School today to review the ongoing remedial coaching classes for students of Classes 10 and 12 under the one-month expert teaching programme.
The CBSE team comprises Ms. Anjali Chhabara, Shri Al Hilal Ahmed, Dr. Meena Sehrawat, and Ms. Prachi Dixit, Additional Directors and Associate Professors, who are visiting Ladakh from 12 to 22 September 2026. As part of the initiative to strengthen learning outcomes and prepare students for the forthcoming CBSE examinations, the team is providing academic support and expert guidance to teachers and students in Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics.
The special remedial coaching classes have been organised under the directions and guidance of Ms. Bhanu Prabha, IAS, Administrative Secretary, School Education, UT Ladakh, whose efforts have been instrumental in facilitating this academic initiative for the benefit of students across the Union Territory.
The visiting officers were warmly welcomed with traditional khataks by Sh. S. D. Namgail, Principal, DIET Leh. During the visit, the team interacted with students and reviewed the progress of the remedial coaching classes. The classes were found to be progressing smoothly, with students actively participating in the learning activities.
Students shared positive feedback on the coaching sessions, reflecting their engagement and appreciation of the additional academic support being provided. The interaction also enabled the visiting experts to gain a better understanding of the students’ learning needs and provide academic guidance.
The one-month expert teaching programme, being implemented across the Union Territory of Ladakh, reflects the Education Department’s continued commitment to providing quality academic support and strengthening the preparedness of students appearing in the forthcoming
CBSE examinations
