DC Sham Chairs Departmental Review Meeting with Agriculture Department
Khaltsi, September 21, 2026: The Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), today chaired a departmental review meeting with the Agriculture Department at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Khaltsi, to review the progress of various ongoing schemes, developmental activities and initiatives being implemented in the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of departmental programmes and took stock of the implementation of various agriculture-related schemes and activities in the district.
The concerned officers briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the progress achieved, ongoing activities and challenges faced in the implementation of departmental initiatives.
During the meeting, Deputy Director Agriculture, Tashi Dolma, delivered a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the progress of various departmental schemes, ongoing activities and initiatives being implemented in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure effective implementation of government schemes, timely completion of ongoing activities and improved delivery of services to farmers. She emphasised the importance of coordination among departments and focused efforts towards strengthening the agriculture sector in District Sham.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Agriculture, Tashi Dolma; I/c Agriculture Extension Officer, Tundup Namgail; along with other concerned officials of the Agriculture Department.
