DIET Leh Commences Three-Day Bootcamp on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Citizenship and Educational Technology.
Leh, September 28, 2026: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, in collaboration with the Department of Skill Education, CBSE, has commenced a three-day Bootcamp on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Citizenship and Educational Technology at NIELIT, Leh.
The three-day programme commenced today, 28th September 2026, with the objective of providing students with exposure to emerging technologies, responsible digital practices and the application of Artificial Intelligence in education and everyday life.
A team of resource persons from IBM–1M1B has arrived in Leh to conduct the training programme. The resource team includes Mr. Anip Sharma, Senior Trainer, 1M1B, and Mr. Lakshya, AI Youth Trainer, 1M1B. The trainers will engage the participants through interactive sessions, practical activities and hands-on learning related to Artificial Intelligence, digital citizenship and educational technology.
A total of 70 students along with escort teachers are participating in the three-day bootcamp. The programme is designed to enhance students’ digital competencies, creativity, critical thinking and awareness regarding the responsible and effective use of emerging technologies.
The initiative reflects the commitment of DIET Lehtowards promoting technology-enabled learning and equipping students with relevant 21st-century skills in line with the objectives of NEP 2020 and the emerging requirements of digital education.
The bootcamp will continue for three days, with students participating in a range of experiential and activity-based learning sessions led by the expert resource persons.
