Special Gram Sabha Held at Saspol on Gandhi Jayanti.
Khaltsi, October 2, 2026: A Special Gram Sabha was held at Saspol today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, in the presence of SDM Likir, Shri Gurmet Namgail.
The Gram Sabha provided a platform for direct interaction between the villagers and officers and officials from various government departments of Sham District. During the interaction, officials from the Rural Development Department, Revenue Department, Health Department, Education Department, ICDS, NRLM, Forest Department, Animal Husbandry Department and Agriculture Department briefed the villagers about various departmental related GOI Schemes, welfare programmes and development initiatives being implemented for the benefit of the people.
The officials highlighted the objectives, eligibility criteria and benefits available under various schemes and encouraged the villagers to avail themselves of the benefits of the government welfare and development-oriented programmes.
The Revenue Department also facilitated the villagers by providing information and guidance regarding the issuance of Various certificates, besides addressing their queries related to revenue services.
The interaction provided an opportunity for the villagers to raise their issues, seek necessary clarification and receive guidance from the concerned departments regarding various government schemes and services.
The programme was attended by Tehsildar Saspol, BDO Saspol, and other concerned officers and officials from the various departments and Nambardar Saspol, along with villagers.
