Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2026 Celebrated at the Office of MD, NHM, UT Ladakh.
Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was observed with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at the Office of the Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), UT Ladakh, to commemorate the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
The observance was held in the presence of Sh. Tushar Anand (IAS), Mission Director, NHM, UT Ladakh. On the occasion, Dr. Jigmet Wangchuk, Director (Coordinator), ABDM, UT Ladakh, administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge, which was solemnly taken by all officers and officials of the Office of MD, NHM, UT Ladakh.
The occasion highlighted the vision and invaluable contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in uniting the nation and strengthening its unity, integrity and sovereignty. The pledge reaffirmed the collective commitment of the officers and employees towards upholding national unity, fostering mutual respect and working together with dedication and a shared sense of responsibility.
The observance also served as a reminder that unity, teamwork and collective commitment are essential for effective public service. As members of the National Health Mission, the employees reiterated their commitment to working together towards strengthening healthcare delivery and ensuring accessible and quality healthcare services for every citizen of UT Ladakh.
The celebration concluded with a renewed resolve to uphold the spirit of unity, integrity and service to the nation.
