Meeting of Expenditure Monitoring Team for Municipal Council Election, Leh – 2026.
Ms. Stanzin Donsal, Director Finance & Expenditure Observer, along with Sh. Tsewang Chosgain, Nodal Officer, Expenditure Monitoring for Municipal Council (MC) Election, 2026, convened a meeting with the Expenditure Monitoring Team for MC Election, Leh – 2026, on 05.11.2026 (Thursday) at 10:30 AM in the Conference Hall of the Chief Electoral Officer, Ladakh, at Karzoo.
During the meeting, Ms. Stanzin Donsal issued necessary directions and instructions to all members of the Expenditure Monitoring Team regarding the effective and diligent discharge of their assigned responsibilities. She instructed the Nodal Officer to closely monitor election-related expenditure in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and expenditure limits.
She emphasized the importance of conducting expenditure monitoring and observation activities with utmost diligence and ensuring strict compliance with the guidelines, instructions and directions issued by the Chief Electoral Officer, UT of Ladakh, and the Election Commission of India.
She further directed all team members to remain vigilant and ensure effective monitoring of election-related expenditure to maintain transparency, accountability and strict adherence to the prescribed expenditure norms during the Municipal Council Election, Leh – 2026.
