Covid-19 : 1 death; 362 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh;

Leh, Apr 18: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 362 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 354 reports were received by CMO Leh and 08 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

With the death report of one more patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 133; 89 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 53 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has surged up to 1671; 1595 in Leh district and 76 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 1632 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 100 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Friday and 523 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi screening point Friday.
