PGCIL donates medical equipment to UT Ladakh

Leh, June 14: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited through its Srinagar Leh Transmission System, Office Leh donated medical equipment & handed over to Chief Medical Officer, Leh Motup Dorje in presence of Ravinder Kumar, Secretary Energy Ladakh.
As a part of its CSR initiative, PGCIL provided 1 vaccine delivery van, 7 ice lined refrigerator (small), 6 ice lined refrigerator (large) and 6 deep freezers.
The equipment is meant to facilitate UT Ladakh in the storage and transportation of COVID vaccine stocks to far-flung areas of the Leh district.
Similarly, handed over many important medical equipment to the Health Department of Kargil. The equipment was handed over by Shafat Ahmed, General Manager, Srinagar Leh Transmission System.
Sukhdev Singh, Chief Manager, Power Grid, Leh was also present during the program.
