Cleanliness drive conducted at Khardung La pass

Leh, Aug 06: The Tourism Department, Leh, in collaboration with Municipal Committee Leh and Zero Waste Ladakh organisation, conducted a cleanliness drive at Khardung La pass today as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.

The cleanliness drive commenced from South Pulu to North Pulu at Khardungla. The waste collected was segregated and sent to the Municipal Committee segregation centre. A large number of tourists also joined the cleanliness drive and were made aware of keeping the environment clean.
