9 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh; 2 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 15: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, nine new positive sample reports of Covid-19 was received yesterday and all the cases were reported in Leh. While a total of 1630 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 981 and Kargil: 649 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 2 patients yesterday and all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 80; 60 in Leh and 20 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2493 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 33 and 407 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
