A day-long SVEEP Syscampaign was organised by SVEEP Nodal Officer, Leh on the directions of District EO Leh today on March 16 to enlighten the electorate about the forthcoming LS election

A day-long SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) campaign was organised by SVEEP Nodal Officer, Leh on the directions of District Election Officer Leh today on March 16 to enlighten the electorate about the forthcoming General Election to Lok Sabha 2024.
The primary objective of the campaign was to impart knowledge and understanding to new voters regarding the electoral process and, moreover, to instigate a sense of responsibility among them to actively participate in the democratic process by casting their valuable votes.
A pledge, symbolizing commitment towards democratic values and the exercise of voting rights, was administered to all participants. Additionally, a SVEEP campaign rally was also conducted in the Leh market, spreading the message of electoral awareness.
The event saw the participation of District Election Office staff, students from Government Girls Higher Secondary School and Rigjung Public School, Leh.
