A delegation from Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (CIBS), Leh headed by Vice Chancellor, Prof Rajesh Ranjan called on Chairman/CEC, Adv Tashi Gyalson at Council Secretariat today.
The delegation apprised CEC about the issues concerning Sowa Rigpa course at CIBS as per the norms and criteria of Ministry of AYUSH, highlighting that Sowa Rigpa course is one of the most sought out courses offered at CIBS.
The delegation also informed about the existing and operational Sowa Rigpa Hospital and related OPD services provided at CIBS and the required AYUSH norms to run a full-fledged Sowa Rigpa Medical College along with a herbal garden with 60-70 medicinal species. Seeking assistance of H’CEC, the delegation urged him to redress their issues at the earliest.
After giving a patient hearing to their issues and grievances, CEC Gyalson assured to provide the necessary support for its early redressal and issued instructions for the same.
