A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ghulam Mohd, (JKAS) Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh, in the VC Room, DC Office, Leh regarding the arrangements to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The meeting was convened to review the upcoming Mega District Level Padyatra preparations scheduled on 31st October 2025, which will be flagged off from Raj Niwas, Leh at 8:30 AM and culminate at NDS Stadium, Leh.
Detailed discussions were held on security arrangements, traffic regulation, route management, and budget allocation to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event. The ADC directed all departments to maintain close coordination with the Police and Traffic authorities for effective management of the event.
Departments were further instructed to complete all necessary preparations by 30th October 2025.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director, NYK, Leh, Assistant Director, DIPR, Leh; Dy. Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Ladakh,District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Leh; Executive Officer, MC Leh; Coordinator, NSS Leh, and other concerned officials.
