A one-day training programme on Natural Farming was successfully conducted at Tigger and Pinchimik on 30th October 2025, with the active participation of 100 farmers from the area.
The training was enriched by the presence of several resource persons : Mohd. Ramzan, SDAO Leh, delivered an insightful session on the principles and practices of Natural Farming, Stanzin Gonbo, Subject Matter Specialist, discussed Soil Health and Fertility Management, Chimet Lhamo, Agriculture Extension Officer, elaborated on Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
SDAO Nubra, emphasized the importance and implementation of these strategies within the farming community.
In addition to the technical sessions, our team also conducted a practical demonstration on the preparation of Agni Astra and explained its application methods and recommended dosages to the farmers at the site.
The programmed concluded with an interactive discussion session where farmers shared their experiences and clarified their queries, making the event highly productive and engaging.
