ABDM Ladakh organizes workshop on its implementation In Kargil.

Kargil, Feb 09, 2025: The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Ladakh, on Saturday organized a one-day workshop in Kargil to review its implementation and assess its progress among various stakeholders.
Director Health Services, Ladakh, Dr Tashi Thinles was the chief guest on the occasion. Director (Coordination), ABDM, Dr Phunchok Nurboo, Chief Medical Officer, Kargil, Dr Liyaqat Ali Khan, Project Manager ABDM, Tashi Angmo, BMOs of different blocks, doctors, medical staffs, and others from medical fraternity of Kargil took part in the event.
While speaking on the occasion, Director Health Services, Ladakh, Dr. Tashi Thinles said the workshop aims to enhance the effective implementation of the e-hospital system in the district.
He urged everyone to work with dedication and cooperate for the successful implementation of the e-hospital system.
On the occasion, CMO Kargil, Dr Liyaqat Ali Khan, said in Ladakh, the ABDM has played a great role in securing the records of patients and will further help in treatment of patients.
He stated that the e-hospital system reduces paperwork and will further strengthen the ongoing transformation in the health sector under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Project Manager ABDM, Tashi Angmo, in her presentation elaborated the basics of the scheme. The PPT highlighted achievements and areas required for further improvement for effective implementation.
The PPT briefed about the HPR status of model facilities, HPR status of doctors with facility details, HMIS usage of DH, CHCs and PHCs in district kargil.
A practical session demonstrated how to update facility details, enhancing participants’ understanding of the e-hospital system under ABDM.
Further, through PPT details about the ABHA usage trend for 5 month on HMIS, linkage with other program-NCD, lab integration, model facilities, DHIS status in district kargil etc were also highlighted.
During the workshop, a Q&A session was held, where experts addressed participants’ concerns and clarified doubts about the implementation of the e-hospital system.
The District Hospital Kargil was awarded for overall implementation of ABDM.
At the end, certificates of appreciation were awarded to top performers on overall implementation of ABDM, linkage with other programs to DH, CHC, PHC and block level in district Kargil.
