ADC Kargil chairs meeting ahead of World Environment Day celebrations.

Kargil, June 04, 2023:
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kargil Ghulam Mohi-ud-in Wani on Saturday chaired a meeting to discuss arrangements ahead of World Environment Day to be held on June 05.
SDM, Shakar Chiktan, SDM, Sankoo, District Forest Officer, Executive Engineer, Mechanical Department Kargil, Executive Engineer Sankoo, AD Tourism, Executive Engineer, R&B, Kargil, Executive Officer MC, Kargil, Wildlife Warden, AEE Drass beside other concerned officers were present during the meeting.
The ADC instructed the concerned officers and officials to organize World Environment Day at large scale to raise awareness and describe the importance environmental protection.
It was informed that a cycle rally will be organized on the day from TFC Kargil and passing through circular road it will culminate at TFC.
The ADC informed that World Environmental Day will be organized across the district and plantation drives will also be conducted at block headquarters.
During the meeting, the theme of the environmental day was also discussed.
He instructed the concerned officers to provide tipper for Shakar Chiktan and Directed SDM Sankoo to coordinate with NHIDCL for the same. The ADC also instructed the officers to arrange refreshments from the office expenditure.
The ADC stressed for timely upload of photos and videos of the event through different digital media platforms and the online portal of Mission Life.
