ADC Kargil chairs meeting on World Toilet Day campaign.

Kargil, November 19, 2024: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kargil, Ghulam Mohiudin Wani today chaired a meeting in observance of World Toilet Day to plan and finalize activities for district-wide sanitation campaign scheduled from November 19 to December 10.
The meeting was attended by key district officials, including Chief Medical Officer, Programme Officer ICDS, Chief Education Officer, District Panchayat Officer, Assistant Director, Information, Kargil, Block Development Officers, AEE PHE, and Sanitary Inspector of Municipal Committee Kargil.
The District Panchayat Officer Kargil welcomed all participants and delivered a comprehensive presentation. The presentation outlined the critical role of Block Development Officers, Gram Panchayats, and inter-departmental convergence in ensuring the successful implementation of the campaign.
The ADC Kargil emphasized the importance of planning and finalizing activities for World Toilet Day. He reviewed the current sanitation and hygiene status across the district. He also focused on strengthening collaboration and coordination among various departments to achieve objectives of the campaign.
The ADC also announced the rollout of the campaign in Kargil District, highlighting its goal to enhance awareness about sanitation and promote hygienic practices across communities.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to make the campaign impactful, ensuring community engagement and improving overall sanitation infrastructure in the district.
