ADDC Leh Reviews Preparations for Celebration of 10th Ladakh Rpal Ngam Duston.
Leh, August 3, 2026: In preparation for the celebration of the 10th Ladakh Rpal Ngam Duston, scheduled to be held on August 5 at Leh Palace, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Leh, Rigzin Spalgon, JKAS, convened a meeting today at the DC Conference Hall to review the arrangements for the event.
During the meeting, the ADDC shared the tentative programme schedule with the officers and reviewed the preparations being made by various departments. While assigning responsibilities to the concerned officials, he directed them to discharge their duties with utmost dedication and in accordance with past practices to ensure the smooth conduct of the celebration.
He further instructed the concerned departments to make all necessary arrangements related to decoration, reception, seating, refreshments and other essential facilities well in advance to ensure the successful organisation of the event.
Emphasising the importance of preserving Ladakh’s rich cultural heritage, the ADDC directed the concerned departments to ensure the participation of traditional cultural troupes and the timely installation of banners and standees at designated locations. The meeting also discussed the guest list and the participation of various stakeholders in the celebration.
The ADDC further directed all participants and officials to attend the event in traditional attire.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Leh, Delex Namgyal, JKAS; Assistant Director, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Leh, Rigzin Yangdol, JKAS; and heads of various concerned departments.
