Amit Chandel reviews functioning of Poshan Tracker, implementation of Supplementary Nutrition Programme, schemes of ICDS in Kargil

Kargil, October 07, 2022: Director, Social & Tribal Welfare, Ladakh, Amit Chandel today reviewed the functioning of Poshan Tracker, implementation of Supplementary Nutrition Programme and various other schemes of ICDS in Kargil.
District Programme Officer, Kargil Imteeaz Kacho, Accounts Officer, Shabbir Hussain, CDPOs and Supervisors of various Projects of ICDS-Kargil attended the day-long meeting.
The Director took feedback regarding the weekly awareness programmes being held in the Gram Panchayats, status of provision of nutrition in Anganwadi Centres, regular measurement of children’s height and weight while also discussing important issues.
While taking note of data entry of a number of indicators on the Poshan Tracker, the Director directed the CDPOs and Supervisors to ensure that Anganwadi Workers upload data on the tracker regularly and that no field is left blank. He stated that Anganwadi Workers will lose their honorarium if they fail to upload data regularly.
