Animal Husbandry Department, Leh Organizes 4-Day Animal Birth Control & Anti-Rabies Camp at Kharu Military Stations.
Leh, May 18, 2026: The ABC&AR team of Animal Husbandry Department, Leh successfully conducted a four-day ABC&AR Camp at the Military Stations of Kharu from May 11 to May 14, 2026.
During the camp, a team of veterinarians, para-veterinary staff, and animal handlers sterilized and vaccinated a total of 131 stray dogs. The camp was carried out in coordination with the military authorities at Kharu to ensure smooth and effective implementation.
