Awareness program under National Mental Health Programme (NMHP) held at CHC Padum.
Kargil, July 11, 2024: Awareness cum psychiatry camp under National Mental Health Programme (NMHP) was conducted on Wednesday at Community Health Centre (CHC) Padum, Zanskar.
District Mental Health Officer Kargil, Dr Fatima Nissa along with the team interacted with Block Medical Officer, Zanskar, Dr Nawang Chosdan and medical staff.
A training course was also conducted at CHC Padum. The training was attended by CHOs, Pharmacists and ANMs of Zanskar Sub Division on the 1st day.
The team headed by Dr Fatima Nissa were in Zanskar for three days to educate students and the general public about mental health issues.
