Awareness Programme on Ban on Single-Use Plastic Held at GHSS Tangtse.
June 23, 2026: An awareness programme on the ban of Single-Use Plastic (SUP) was conducted today at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Tangtse, to educate students about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and the importance of adopting eco-friendly practices.
As part of the campaign, all students and staff took a pledge not to use plastic within the school campus. The school administration also resolved to impose a fine of ₹100 on anyone found entering the school campus with plastic items, as a measure to ensure strict compliance with the ban.
