CEC Dr. Jaffer expresses gratitude to Ministry of Home, HLG Ladakh, Finance Dept. for increasing daily wager wages.
Kargil, March 15, 2024: On the request of the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Finance Department Ladakh has taken a great step to enhance the wages of daily wagers.
CEC Dr. Mohd. Jaffer Akhoon, on behalf of Hill Council Kargil has expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Honourable Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, the Finance Department of the Union Territory (UT) Ladakh, and all stakeholders involved for their approach in addressing the needs of the daily wagers.
CEC said that this enhancement in wages reflects a commitment to ensuring fair compensation for labor and underscored the government’s dedication to the welfare of its workforce.
Further, CEC Dr Jaffer said that such measures contribute to more inclusive and prosperous society in the region.
He further congratulated all the skilled and non- skilled hardworking labours of UT Ladakh who contribute to the development and functioning of various projects in the region.
