CEC Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon Flags Off ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Bike Rally in Kargil.
Kargil, August 17, 2026: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today flagged off the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Bike Rally organised by District Police Kargil from TFC Biamathang, Baroo, Kargil.
The event was held in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Rakesh Kumar, SSP Kargil Nitin Yadav, senior Army and Police officers, besides civil participants and members of the public.
The bike rally, organised as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, commenced from TFC Biamathang, Baroo, and proceeded towards Ashuna village, carrying the message of national unity, patriotism and pride in the Tricolour.
CEC encouraged participants and the people of Kargil to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and proudly hoist the National Flag at their homes, reinforcing the collective commitment to the nation.
Police personnel, Army representatives, civil officials and local residents participated enthusiastically in the bike rally. The event witnessed a strong display of patriotic spirit, with participants carrying the Tricolour and spreading the message of unity, pride and responsible citizenship.
The rally concluded at Ashuna, marking another significant initiative by District Police Kargil to promote the values of patriotism, unity and respect for the National Flag.
