CEC felicitates doctors from AIIMS, Safdarjung Hospital Delhi for holding medical camp at DH Kargil.
Kargil, July 11, 2024: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today felicitated doctors from AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital Delhi for successfully conducting 5 day free medical camps at district hospital Kargil.
The medical camp was conducted in collaboration with Ashoka Mission and District Administration Kargil. The felicitation ceremony was attended by Executive Councilor, Aga Syed Mujtaba; Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Srikant Suse; SSP Kargil, Shree Ram R; Motup Kou General Secretary Ashoka Mission besides doctors and other district officers were present during the ceremony.
On the occasion, the CEC Kargil thanked doctors, General Secretary Ashoka Mission, and District Administration Kargil for successfully organizing the 5 day medical camp.
Dr Jaffer appreciated the efforts of doctors and said that they are proud to host doctor’s from such prestigious institutions of the country to provide medical services for people of Kargil.
The CEC Kargil said that such collaborations will be held in future as well to serve the people especially from the marginal sections.
He said the Kargil House Building at Dwarka Delhi is under construction which will be completed soon and that will be very beneficial for patients who often need to travel to Delhi for medical check-ups.
The CEC highlighted the importance of special training for doctors of Kargil in AIIMS in different areas saying steps will be taken in future to meet this important demand.
General Secretary, Ashoka Mission also thanked CEC Kargil for felicitating the doctors and providing respectable facilities for the doctors during their stay.
He also said that around 50 patients have been referred to AIIMS Delhi for further treatment adding that these patients will be taken care and guided in Delhi as well.
Doctors from AIIMS and Sufdarjung Delhi also expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and facilities provided to them during their stay by LAHDC Kargil and District Administration.
