CEC Feroz Khan visits Batalik, Chulichan, takes assessment of developmental works.

Kargil, June 15, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan today visited Batalik and Chulichan villages of Silmo Constituency to inspect the pace and progress of various developmental works.
The CEC was accompanied by Executive Engineer R&B, Sadiq Ali, Block Development Officer Sodh, Mukhtar Ahmad, ZEO Kargil, Mohd Mussa and other concerned officers and officials.
During a public meeting at Chulichan, the public representatives forwarded many problems and issues faced by people.
The CEC instructed the BRO for widening of the Batalik-Chulichan road. The residents requested for shifting of transformer and electric cable for the betterment of the villagers and construction of reservoir for irrigation purposes. Khan assured the residents that all necessary measures will be taken in this regard.
Regarding the request for repairing of ration store building and Saria, he assured them that all the genuine issues and problems will be addressed in a phased manner.
The CEC also visited Govt. High School, Chulichan where he inspected the under construction buildings for school under SAMAGRA and R&B Department.
Regarding lack of Hindi Teacher and Physical Education Teacher, he assured the school administration that the issue will be resolved soon. Khan said the creation for Hindi Teacher post has been sanctioned and Physical Education Teacher for the school will be appointed under Rehbar-i-Khel.
He also interacted with faculty members, students and took assessment of basic facilities.
Later, the CEC inspected the construction of link road at Chulichan and directed the concerned officers for its completion at the earliest.
During a public meeting at Batalik, public representatives presented a memorandum of requests to which the CEC assured that the issues will be addressed in due course of time.
While replying to the shortage of teachers in Batalik School, he assured the residents that he will look if a teacher could be managed on voluntarily basis. The CEC also assured the residents that all their problems and issues will be solved in a phased manner.
