CEC hands over compensation of Rs 50,000 provided by NHPC to family of deceased girl.

Kargil, Nov 06, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon in presence of Aga Aainul Huda, Councilor Parkachik, today handed over the immediate compensation of Rs 50,000 provided by NHPC to family members of deceased girl who lost her life after drowning in the flow of water released from NHPC Chutak HEP barrage.
The CEC assured the kin of the deceased girl every possible assisstance by the LAHDC in taking care of the family.
The family member thanked the CEC for his sympathy and the efforts made by him for restricting such incidents in future to save human lives.
