CEC Kargil condoles sad demise of Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan.

Kargil, Dec 17, 2024: On behalf of LAHDC, Kargil, Chairman/CEC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today expressed profound sorrow on the sad demise of Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan, a retired DIG, a dedicated politician and a senior leader of the National Conference.
The CEC said that Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan’s statesmanship, determination and deep commitment to the people of Ladakh, especially during his two terms as Member of Parliament, will forever be remembered.
Recalling his contributions, the CEC said that Haji Ghulam Hassan Khan was not merely a public representative but a stalwart whose sincere dedication and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged sections of society sets a benchmark for public service.
“His legacy of selfless contributions and tireless efforts in addressing the community’s needs shall forever remain unrivalled. The loss is deeply felt by the community he served with utmost dedication,” Dr. Akhoon said.
In these trying times, the CEC and LAHDC, Kargil stand in solidarity with the bereaved family and offered heartfelt sympathies and support.
