CEC Kargil Meets Delegation from Humbree Sankoo, Assures Support for Local Development.
Kargil, March 26, 2026: A delegation of villagers from Humbree Sankoo today called on the Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, to discuss various developmental issues concerning their area.
During the meeting, the delegation submitted a memorandum highlighting key local concerns, including the construction of a link road, construction of a school building and construction of a playground for the community, and the provision of adequate drinking water facilities.
The Chief Executive Councillor gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by the delegation and acknowledged the importance of addressing their genuine demands. He assured the members that all possible support would be extended and that the concerned departments would be directed to take necessary action on priority.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the CEC for his time and assurance, and hoped for early redressal of their concerns.
