CEC Kargil Meets Delegation from Spring Dales Public School, Appreciates Role in Promoting Education and Culture.
Kargil, March 30, 2026: A delegation of villagers associated with Spring Dales Public School today called on the Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, at his office.
The delegation included Councillor Shargole, Mohd Jawad, the Principal of Spring Dales Public School, and members of the School Management Committee. During the meeting, the delegation extended a formal invitation to the Hon’ble CEC to attend the upcoming celebration of Bhoti Language Day scheduled for April 1 at the school.
The members highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the region through such initiatives and emphasized the role of educational institutions in nurturing local identity among the younger generation.
Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon gave a patient hearing to the delegation and appreciated their efforts in the field of education as well as their commitment to safeguarding the cultural heritage of Ladakh. He lauded the role of Spring Dales Public School in fostering academic excellence alongside cultural awareness.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble CEC for his continued support and encouragement towards educational and cultural development in the district.
