CEC Kargil reviews progress of expenditure under District CAPEX Budget 2023-24 of Public Works Department.

Kargil, 03 Jan: Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today chaired a meeting to review the progress of expenditure under District CAPEX Budget 2023-24 of Public Works Department (R&B) and discussed excess-surrender of funds.
The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer (R&B) Skalzang Dorje, Executive Engineer R&B, Mohammad Sadiq and Executive Engineer SVD Sankoo, Syed Mehdi besides other concerned officers were present during the meeting.
During the meeting, the CEC Kargil took detailed status of physical and financial progress achieved under different on-going developmental works being executed by the department.
The concerned officials apprised the CEC about the progress achieved till date about different works and also informed about the status of expenditure booked till date.
CEC Dr Jaffer advised all the officers to book maximum expenditure and directed to pace up expenditure under different components of District CAPEX.
Keeping in view the closure of the current financial year, the CEC Kargil directed to ensure utilization of 100 percent funds.
He directed the officers that fund surrenders won’t be permitted at year-end, and they will be personally accountable for any lapses.
