Leh, Aug 28,2024: The Hon’ble Chairman/CEC LAHDC, Leh Adv. Tashi Gyalson, chaired a meeting to assess the progress of ongoing developmental works in Leh district in the Conference Hall of the Council Secretariat, Leh on Aug 27.
The meeting was attended by District Superintending Engineer, PWD, Dorjay Gyatso; Chief Planning Officer, Tsewang Gyalson;
Executive Engineer, R&B Divison, Leh; Lobzang Yonton; Executive Engineer, Const. Division, Leh Imran Khan; Executive Engineer, I&FC, Leh, Murtaza Hyder Ali; Executive Engineer, SSD, Khaltsi, Thinles Zangpo (virtually); Executive Engineer, SSD, Nyoma, Ghulam Abass; Executive Engineer, SSD Nubra Shamin Ahmed (virtually) and other concerned officials.
During the meeting, CEC discussed various key projects. He urged timely completion of Bakula Shradhanjali Park, Club House, road widening at Saboo and the new Council Secretariat Building.
Additionally, CEC Gyalson inquired about the progress of developmental works in Nubra, Khaltsi and Nyoma sub division. Executive Engineers from Nubra and Khaltsi briefed CEC on the status of ongoing works in their respective regions, while XEN Nyoma concerns about staffing shortage.
Emphasizing the commitment of the CRPF personnel, the CEC instructed the relevant officials to construct a new shed for the CRPF at Agling for relocation of existing CRPF camp at the bus stand, use of existing location for other development projects.
The CEC emphasized the need to accelerate the completion of major projects and urged all departments to collaborate effectively in order to meet the region’s development objectives.
